  • STEM 4-H Club

    STEM 4-H Club meets on Mondays from 3:30-5:00 in the cafeteria.  The STEM 4-H Club is for 3rd graders and gives students a chance to explore hands-on activities and projects focused on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math).  Youth will also learn about 4-H (head, hands, heart, and health) and how to use these skills.   Read More...

  • Prairie Elementary PASS Classes completed December 2, 2016

    Congratulations to the parents of Spanish and Karen Prairie Elementary students, who completed the 2016 Fall PASS (Parents Advocating for Student Success) program, with a graduation ceremony on December 2. The Spanish and Karen classes were facilitated by Pilar Hartshorn, with assistance from Lah Gay Htoo and Kennedy Say.   • Digital Photography Competition

    Several WHS students participated in the Digital Photography competition held at the SWWC Service Cooperative on December 8th.  Professional sports photographer, Greg Devereaux, shared tips and tricks with the students on how to take great action shots.  Congratulations to Than Than Kyaw who received first place in the “elements” category and Julio Morales who was awarded second place in the landscape category.   Read More...

  • Middle School PASS classes concluded November 8, 2016

    Congratulations to the parents of the Middle School students, who completed the 7-week PASS (Parents Advocating for Student Success) program.  The Spanish class was facilitated by Adry Stafford and the Karen class by Adry Stafford, Lah Gay Htoo and Kennedy Say.  We appreciate the parents investing time to learn how to effectively help their children succeed in school.   Read More...
