Dog Obedience

In Basic Dog Obedience you will teach your dog to walk on a leash, to sit and lay on command, and how to come when called. You will learn how to be your dog’s best friend, as well as how to apply positive techniques that will help your canine companion become all they can be. Do not bring your dog to class the first night. Vaccination papers are required for the first night of class and are available from your veterinarian. Puppy owners, if your dog is too young for the shot, please bring a note from your vet of when your puppy will get his/her rabies shot. All canine owners will be on the floor learning play training. Also bring a 6-foot leash and collar (no chain leashes, please), your canine’s favorite toy and treat, and a list of questions that you would like answered. Do not purchase an obedience collar until after the first night of class. Basic care and grooming techniques will also be discussed.
