District 518 Assessments 2007-2008
During the weeks of April 15 - May 23, 2008, District 518 Public Schools will participate in the Minnesota Statewide Assessments. Students will be tested in Reading, Mathematics, Writing and/or Science. All students, grades 3-8 and 11 who are not in the ESL Program will take the MCA II Mathematics Test. Students grades 3-8 and 11 who are enrolled in the ESL Program, will take the Mathematics Test for English Language Learners (MTELL). Students grades 3-8 & 10 will take the MCA II Reading Test. Students in grade 9 will take the GRAD 9 Writing Test. Students in grade 5, 8 and those in high school who have completed their Life Science course will take the MCAII Science test sometime in May.
