Back up anything
and everything you do not want to lose as often as you need to assure you
will not lose it. CD and DVD burners
are common components on most computers today. The price of CD’s and DVD’s are relatively
inexpensive and are good choices when backing up. You can also backup data to a USB Pen
drive. Floppy disks are not reliable
media for backups. If working on an
important document that you would prefer not to recreate, backup that
document on a regular basis. In addition,
you can email it to yourself. Emailing
will put a copy in another location that is off site, which is good practice
for backing up. |
