Creating a Web Folder

What version of Windows do I have?

Click on start

Go to Control Panel and then System

Make sure you are seeing the General Tab

Look to see what version of Windows you have. (Windows 98, Windows XP, Windows ME)

To create a web folder on XP:

Start, My Network Places, Add a Network Place (on Left side of screen)

Click Next

Wait Patiently

Choose another Network Location, Next

Enter the path to your folder in the Internet or network address box: ie.

http://www.isd518.net/pe/misc

Enter your username and password

Next

Finish

Enter your username and password again if prompted.

Double Click on My Computer

Double Click on Web Folder

Enter the path to your folder in the Internet or network address box: ie.

http://www.isd518.net/pe/misc

Enter your username and password

Next

Finish

Enter your username and password again if prompted.

Double Click on Network Places

Double Click on Add a Network Place
