Lamberton Jazz Festival (WMS-Student Copy)

WHEN: Tuesday, March 25, 2008, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

WHERE: Red Rock Central High School in Lamberton, MN.

SCHEDULE:

8:00 AM Jazz One load bus at middle school.

8:30 AM Pick up HS Jazz Band at WHS.

9:00 AM Depart for Lamberton Jazz Festival from high school.

10:00 AM Arrive at Red Rock Central High School to register. Unload equipment in gym. That is our homeroom.

12:15 PM Warm-up and performance in the band room. Middle school jazz band performs first (Where Do We Go From Here? and River Rat Shuffle). Parents are welcome!

1:00 PM High school jazz band performs in the Auditorium.

1:45 PM Clinics for specific instruments (See schedule on Lamberton Jazz Festival website for locations).

2:45 PM Load equipment on bus after clinics.

3:00 PM Listen to other bands perform after clinics.

4:00 PM Load Bus and leave Lamberton.

5:00 PM Arrive in Worthington. Unload all equipment!

PERFORMANCE DRESS: Jazz One – Black pants, WMS red polo shirt (tucked in!).

COST: Students need to bring money for lunch ($5.00). Concessions are available throughout the day.
