WMS BAND SUMMER 2007 NEWSLETTER

I wanted to touch base with everyone before leaving for Montana to visit my mother (She is going through some pretty extensive cancer treatments in June). If you have any questions, drop me an e-mail or leave a message at the Middle School office.

SUMMER BAND INFORMATION: I have included an extra sign-up form for summer band for those who might have lost their copy. You can drop the form off at the middle school or mail it to: Worthington Middle School, 1401 North Crailsheim Road, Worthington, MN 56187.

MARCHING BAND MUSIC: We will be using “La Pantera” as our marching band selection (be sure it is memorized!).

WAMBO FUNDRAISER: The Worthington Area Music Boosters Organization (WAMBO) is again helping with the Swift employee picnic at the fairgrounds Saturday, August 18. This picnic earns money to help supplement the district music department. Contact any of the district music teachers if you are interested in helping.

BAND BILLS: If you owe for lesson books, valve oil, reeds, etc., please be sure and get that taken care of ASAP.

INSTRUMENTS: If your instrument is still at school, make arrangements to pick it up so you can PRACTICE over the summer.
