Parent Portal Training

Parents who are interested in learning about how to use the Parent Portal system on the ISD 518 website, may contact NCIC to set up a time to learn about it with from an NCIC staff member.  Instructions may be given in English, Spanish, Lao, Tigrinya, or Amharic.

Parents may check grades, attendance, behavior, and missing assignments through Parent Portal.  Additional information and announcement are also available on each building's website.

Similar web based systems are available in other NCIC member districts.  If you attend one of those districts and do not know how to use the system, please contact the school office to request instructions.  If you need an interpreter, the school may request one through NCIC.

Family Night
NCIC hosted a family night for Parents of youth who participated in the Dynamic 507 group.  Youth made presentations for their family members about their experiences during the year.  Youth were recognized for the number of hours volunteered in the community during the school year.  The event was well received and may be offered again in the future for other NCIC youth groups.

Volunteering
NCIC welcomes the assistance of adults as volunteers with our out-of-school time programs.  Parents are encouraged to share their time and talents with youth by volunteering through NCIC.
