NCIC is located in Worthington, Minnesota, which can be reached from Interstate Highway 90, State Highway 59 and State Highway 60. It is 210 miles from Minneapolis and 62 miles from Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The NCIC building is located between Clary Street and 11th Avenue (formerly West Elementary School).
