This will be the
fifth
year that Spanish lessons will be provided to elementary students in the
Collaborative area. Students in Brewster/Round
Lake, Fulda, Adrian and Worthington have receive Spanish language instruction
and multi-cultural education from licensed elementary teachers. The
Elementary Spanish program sponsored by the Nobles County Integration
Collaborative is an exploratory program in which students have one or two
lessons per week throughout the school year.
Research shows that younger
children are able to learn additional languages more quickly, so this
program capitalizes on children's natural ability to learn languages at
an early age.
