Sharon Johnson has served as the
Coordinator of the Nobles County Integration Collaborative since October
2004. She holds a degree in English and Secondary Education and a
masters degree in Educational Leadership and Development. She has 16
years of experience in the field of education. As Coordinator,
Sharon works with
the Joint Powers Board and Collaborative Council to provide
administrative leadership for the Integration Collaborative’s
initiative.
Thongsay
Chantharath
is a Bilingual Program Aide who has worked for the Nobles County
Integration Collaborative since November 2005. Thongsay is originally
from Laos.
Thongsay’s responsibilities include office
management and book-keeping, program promotion, interpreting and
community liaison work. In addition to her work at the
Integration Collaborative, Thongsay is a mother of three and a student
at MN West Community & Technical College.
Jaidy Kolander is a Bilingual Program Aide
for the Nobles County Integration Collaborative. Jaidy is originally from
Columbia. Jaidy’s responsibilities include
office assistance, translation and interpreting services and family
support efforts.
Aida Simon is a Bilingual Program Aide
who has worked for the Nobles County Integration Collaborative since
January 2004. Aida is originally from Ethiopia. Aida’s responsibilities
include facility use arrangements, community liaison work, translation
and interpreting services and basic computer instruction.
Carrie Adams
is the new Youth Initiatives Coordinator at NCIC. She has a degree
from Minnesota State University in psychology with a minor in criminal
justice. She is currently pursing a masters degree in counseling
from South Dakota State University. She has 8 years of experience
as a Family Advocate at Prairie Elementary in Worthington. Carrie
will oversee all NCIC youth programs.
Nancy Landeros
is a full-time AmeriCorps Promise Fellow who works with the Nobles County
Integration Collaborative. She works with middle school students in
all six districts on literacy skills and student achievement. She is
a graduate of Sibley-Ocheyedan High School and a student at MN West
Community & Technical College.
Lakeyta Potter is a full-time
AmeriCorps Promise Fellow who works with youth through the Nobles County
Integration Collaborative. She is a graduate of Worthington High
School and Norfolk University and hold a degree in Psychology.
Cristina
Guajardo is
the Youth Diversity Corps Coordinator. She works part-time facilitating
this high school drama team.
Aileen Gonzalez teaches the
day-time and evening English-Spanish Interchange classes for adults.
This program is co-sponsored by Community Education and co-facilitated by
Marty Olsen.
Catalina Palma and
Flora Reyes are the childcare providers for the Nobles County
Integration Collaborative programs. They provide caring attention to
the young children entrusted to their care.
