Does your Internet Explorer look like this?

Toolbars take up memory, and can be disruptive to other programs.

They also take up space on your screen.

They’re easily, and often unknowingly, installed with other programs. (Google Earth, Yahoo Messenger, etc…)

Also, Toolbars have been known to cause conflicts with Campus in particular.

Toolbars should be removed.

Depending on the toolbar, you will probably get a window like this. Just wait patiently for everything to load.

Usually, you will be asked to confirm whether or not you want to delete the toolbar. Press “Yes” to continue.

Many times, this is all that is required to get rid of pesky toolbars. Some may require a restart of your machine while others may take you to their website.

Make sure to read very carefully, as some toolbars use tricky wording to get you to keep them.

(e.g. “Are you sure you want to be without the benefits of our toolbar? Press YES to cancel the uninstall process”)
