NHS member meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 18th at 7:30 am in the High School Media Center.
Sophomore Class meeting will be held Monday, October 1st in the cafeteria during advisory. Jostens will be present to talk about ordering class rings. All sophomore advisories need to report to the cafeteria.
Sophomore Class Ring Order day will be Friday, October 4. Jostens will be present to collect orders during lunch.
Senior Class meeting will be held Monday, November 4th in the cafeteria during advisory. Jostens will be present to talk about ordering graduation cap & gown, graduation announcements, apparel and other senior items. All senior advisories need to report to the cafeteria.
Senior class Graduation Order day will be held Wednesday, November 13. Jostens will be present to collect orders during lunch.
FFA Greenhand Day: FFA Freshman not currently enrolled in the Ag 9 course can sign up to attend Greenhand Day in Windom on Wednesday September 25th. Please sign up by Wednesday September 18th.
FCCLA - Anyone interested in attending the Leadership meeting at Fulda on September 18, please contact Mrs. Bents and put your name on a list. Dues need to be paid by 9-11 if you plan on going.

Student Council will also be selling Homecoming t-shirts during the lunch blocks beginning next week. Shirts are $10.
Attention sophomores! On Wednesday, September 25, all sophomores will be attending the Career Expo at MN West, Worthington Campus. The Southwest Minnesota Workforce Council’s Career Expo is a highly interactive career information and exploration event for high school students.
All Juniors will be meeting with College Possible on Thursday, September 26th in the cafeteria during Trojan Advisory.
WEATHER RELATED SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS: Our local Radio Stations and TV Cable 3 in Worthington will make announcements concerning late starts or school closings if the weather is inclement. The Sioux Falls KELO and KSFY news stations and websites will also run school announcements. Stop by the WHS office to give us your name & phone number so you can receive a Shoutpoint message to your cell and/or home phone. Students should report to 1st Block at 10:00 if there is a 2-hour late start.
MEDIA CENTER HOURS – Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 p.m.
MEDIA CENTER: This is a reminder that if you choose to come to the Media Center during lunch, you WILL be expected to have something to do and it WILL be quiet because there are other students, faculty, and classes using the room at the same time. ACADEMIC DECATHLON meets after school twice a week in room 507 with Mrs. Wendt. All are welcome to come check it out!
STUDENT COUNCIL will meet at 7:30 a.m. on the first Friday of each month in the Media Center.

DRAMA CLUB meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 3 to 4 in room 502
BPA meetings will be held every Monday after school in room 328 from 2:50 to 3:10
SADD will meet every Wednesday after school in room 329. New members are always welcome!
STEM CLUB will meet on the 3rd Monday night of the month from 6-8PM
in Room 514 and in the morning on the last Thursday of the month at 7:30AM in

ALLIES-A group for those who identify with the LGBT-Q community and fellow students who support them. We meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month at 7:30am. ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING EXTERIOR DOOR USAGE! Please use your Student ID to enter in the North and South doors before 8:00. After school begins you will need to use the intercom to gain entrance into to school. During the lunch hours, Juniors and Seniors will be able to use their Student ID’s to enter the building. Students are asked not to allow other students or visitors in the doors during our lock down hours. Visitors must use the intercom in order to gain access to the building. Please help keep WHS secure for all of us!

At various times during the school year, representatives from colleges and universities come to Worthington High School to visit with juniors and seniors regarding their post-secondary education options and needs. Speaking with these college representatives is a great opportunity to learn more about degree offerings, scholarships, extra-curricular activities, financial aid, etc. Listed below are colleges/college representatives that are scheduled to be at Worthington High School.
