Mrs. Hibma

My name is Mrs. Hibma, and I am a 5th grade general education teacher. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Southwest Minnesota State University in Marsall, MN. I then received my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership through Winona State University.

While working on my Master's Degree, I taught fifth grade in Rochester, MN. Then I was hired as a fifth grade teacher by District 518 in 1995. That means I have taught fifth grade ever since I've been out of college! For two years, I also had the opportunity to help teach a Master's Degree program in Worthington during the weekends through Southwest Minnesota State University.

I love working with fifth grade students! They have a great attitude, and they get my jokes! They are enthusiastic learners who are ready to comprehend in-depth content. I love seeing my students' faces light up when they have learned something new. It is fun to watch them gain self-confidence as they acquire new skills.

As the mother of a son and twin daughters, I have learned to value education in and out of the school setting. My husband and I love to take our kids on trips during the summer so we can all gain exposure to various areas!

Mrs. Jungers

Hi, my name is Mrs. Jungers and I’m a Special Education teacher at the Worthington Middle School. I have been teaching in District 518 since the Fall of 1999. I teach Reading, Math, and Written Language to students with learning disabilities. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Special Education. The highlight of teaching is watching students grow academically and socially. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children, camping, boating, attending my children’s school activities, playing board games, and reading.
