Mr. Langseth

My name is Josh Langseth and I teach Special Ed at Prairie Elementary. I have worked for Worthington Public Schools as a paraprofessional in 2006-2008 and 2010-2011, but started teaching in the 2011-2012 school year. I have also worked with AmeriCorps in Worthington and also District #197. I received my bachelor’s degree in Preprimary and Elementary Education from Crown College in May 2010. First and foremost, my enjoyment of working with kids is why I pursued a degree in teaching. I also really enjoy seeing students grow academically, and as children throughout the school year. When I am not at school, I stay busy with my family. My wife Paris and I have four children; Lillyana, Easton,Willow, and Beckham. If there was one thing that I would say is interesting about me it would be that I keep my hair cut short, because I have not fully come to grips with the fact that I am balding.

Mr. Wrede

My name is Brady Wrede, and I am originally from Sioux Falls, SD. I graduated college in May of 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Minnesota State University-Mankato. I also received an endorsement to teach 6th – 8th grade mathematics. I am currently a fourth grade teacher at Prairie Elementary and absolutely love what I do! Being a teacher is very humbling to me, and I feel blessed to help each student that enters my classroom learn and grow.

Outside of teaching my biggest passion in life is music, which I share in with my wife. Together we have a band called CommonGround. I believe music is universal and brings people together. Any chance I have I enjoy playing music for and with my students in the classroom. I am happy to be a part of District 518!
