At that time, I moved to Fulda, MN and graduated from Fulda High School. I attended Mankato State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education 1-6 and Coaching. I have continued my education with a Masters in Education from St. Mary’s College of Minnesota and in May, 2019, I received my reading licensure from Southwest Minnesota State University, Marshall, MN. I also have an RN degree from Minnesota West Community and Technical College, Worthington, MN. I had taught in 2nd -5th grade in Fulda, MN before coming to Worthington in the fall of 2014 as a 4th grade teacher. I have been in my current position as a reading interventionist since the fall of 2017. I enjoy seeing my students every day and sharing in their growth as a learner. I also really enjoy collaborating with my peers and sharing in our passion for education. I am married to Brad Holinka and we have 3 adult children, Mari, Michale, and Myah. Outside of school, I enjoy time with my family and friends, running, reading, and cooking.
