Coordinator of Teaching and Learning
The Worthington School district #518, Worthington, Minnesota is seeking a successful and experienced Coordinator of Teaching and Learning candidate. A working knowledge of grants, curriculum, assessment/testing and staff development/mentoring is essential elements to this position. The successful candidate will provide leadership to our employees related to training, research and implementation of programs.
The following are the qualifications for the position. A minimum of five years of successful classroom teaching experience, working towards or have a masters degree in an area of education with some emphasis in educational leadership, and an understanding of quality teaching strategies and utilization of best practices as well as knowledge of the above mentioned areas.
This a 10 month position in which the candidate must possesses excellent communication skills, work in a culturally diverse community, work cooperatively with administration, staff, parents, and the community.
Worthington is a stable regional center located on the prairies of southwestern Minnesota with direct interstate highway connection to Sioux Falls, Sioux City and Minneapolis/St. Paul. The community has a long history of aggressive support for public education and high expectation for academic achievement.

Middle School Principal
The Worthington School District #518, Worthington, Minnesota is seeking successful and experienced Middle School Principal candidates. A working knowledge of No Child Left Behind, Minnesota Standards, and the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments are essential to the position. The successful candidate will provide leadership in a 510 pupil 6-8 Middle School building. The school district total enrollment is approximately 2,250 students K-12.

Class II Custodian. Worthington Independent School District 518 is seeking applicants for a Class II Custodian at the Middle School. This would be a 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. shift. Responsibilities include: Supervision of evening staff, general maintenance, daily cleaning, and event set up and tear down. Individual should have ability to work independently as well as a part of a team, be self-directed, energetic and able to get along with others. Boiler license preferred but not required. Qualifications/General Duties: The candidate must be licensed by the State of Minnesota in Early Childhood Special Education.
