SPECIAL BOARD MEETING                                                                                                    July 6, 2007

A Special meeting of the School Board of Independent School District No. 518, Worthington, Minnesota, was held at the District Administration Office, 1117 Marine Avenue, Minnesota, on July 6, 2007, at 7:30 a.m.

The following were present:  BOARD MEMBERS – Bob Jirele, Steve Schnieder, Joel Lorenz, Paul Langseth, Lowell Nystrom, Linden Olson, and Lori Dudley was absent.

ADMINISTRATORS – John Landgaard, Superintendent

1.                  Motion by Member Olson, seconded by Member Lorenz and unanimously passed to approve the agenda for the July 6, 2007, Special School Board meeting.

2.                  Motion by Member Lorenz, seconded by Member Nystrom and unanimously passed to approve the Elementary Principal contract for Paul Besel.

3.                  Motion by Member Langseth, seconded by Member Olson and unanimously passed to approve the separation agreement with Lori DeNeui and agreed to by EMW.

4.                  Motion by Member Langseth, seconded by Member Olson and unanimously passed to approve an additional Kindergarten position for the 2007-2008 school year.

5.                  Motion by Member Langseth, seconded by Member Jirele and unanimously passed to approve 2.0 FTE paraprofessional positions for the elementary.
