SPECIAL BOARD MEETING                                                        September 17, 2007

A Special meeting of the School Board of Independent School District No. 518, Worthington, Minnesota, was held at the District Administration Office, 1117 Marine Avenue, Minnesota, on September 17, 2007, at 7:00 a.m.

The following were present:  BOARD MEMBERS – Bob Jirele, Steve Schnieder, Joel Lorenz, Lowell Nystrom, Linden Olson, Lori Dudley

ADMINISTRATORS – John Landgaard, Superintendent

1.                  Motion by Member Olson, seconded by Member Dudley and unanimously passed to approve the agenda for the September 17, 2007, Special School Board meeting.

2.                  Discussion with potential candidates for appointment to the school board to replace the vacant position.  The School Board met with Matt Widboom at 7:00 a.m. and with Brad Shaffer at 7:30 a.m.  The candidate at 8:00 requested to reschedule and did not attend.  The School Board will move to take action at the regular September School Board meeting.
