Fall Bob Ross Painting (Ages 15 & up)                                                $60

 

Gain a feeling of accomplishment as you use your own talents in these classes taught by a Bob Ross certified instructor.  Bob Ross is a world-renowned painter famous for his wet-on-wet oil techniques and his public TV series.  He believes that anyone can paint, and it only takes practice to have a masterpiece flow from your brush.  No prior experience is necessary for this class.  Please bring a roll of paper towels, baby wipes (not Wet-ones) and a sack lunch to class.  The course fee includes all art supplies needed.  Your painting will be complete at the end of one day.  Students will have the option to purchase a frame from the instructor for an additional fee.

Beginning Square Dancing                                                                     2/per person/per lesson

 

Looking for fun and fellowship?  You could be looking for square dancing -- "Friendship set to music".  Singles and couples, individuals of all ages are welcome.  The first two lessons are free, so you'll want to come and give square dancing a whirl.

Ballroom Dancing for Adults (Ages 19 & up)                                      $90/couple

 

Love watching Dancing with the Stars?  Want to be able to Waltz across the room, move to the Latin beat, or be jivin' to Swing?  This class will cover the fundamentals of partner dancing while learning the basic skills and steps of a few of the popular ballroom dances.  Participants should wear shoes that have suede or leather soles, along with comfortable clothing that allows ease of movement.

Guitar Lessons—Individual                                                                     $16.50/1/2 hr ses; $27.50/1 hr Session

 

We are very happy to have Dave Schieffer providing guitar lessons - classical, acoustic, or electric.  Dave has 18 years of musical teaching.  Come and learn the basics of guitar playing or continue what you have already started!  Explore the world's most widely played instrument for fun and enjoyment.  Please indicate your level of ability when registering (beginner or intermediate) and style of interest, if known (i.e., Classical, Rock, Blues, Country, Folk, etc.) when registering so the instructor may prepare for the most benefit of your lesson time and learning experience.  If you already play and are working on a particular style, we can work together to further your technique and ability.  Student's lesson times will be on Tuesday depending on schedule availability and will meet for 1/2 hour weekly or 1 hour weekly - time depends on your level and attention throughout the session.  Payment is required at the beginning of each month to reserve your spot.  Early Discount does not apply.
