Online Practice Links

On the right are links to websites that are designed for students to build their academic skills. These sites are arranged by the student’s current ability (RIT Score, Grade Level, or Lexile score).

RIT: A student’s RIT score is determined by his/her performance on the NWEA Measure of Academic Progress assessment. The RIT score appears on the parent report. If you are unsure of the student’s RIT score, you can use the grade-level equivalent chart below to determine the most appropriate practice for that student.

Grade Level: Depending on the student’s current ability, you may want to have the student start in a grade higher/lower than his/her current grade level.

Lexile: A student’s Lexile score is determined by their performance on either the MCA (Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment) or on the NWEA Measure of Academic Progress assessment. The Lexile score appears on the parent report for both of these assessments. If you are unsure of the student’s Lexile score, you can use the grade-level equivalent chart below to determine the most appropriate practice for that student.
