Prairie Elementary is in the beginning phase of developing services for gifted and talented students.

Our staff recognizes that all learners benefit when parents and school work in partnership to recognize and respond to a child's advanced learning needs. We encourage you to consult with your child's teacher to learn more about what's happening in the classroom and to share observations about your child's strengths and interests.

Currently there is a gifted and talented committee (GATE) formed at Prairie. This committee is advocating for the needs of gifted students. The current organizational structure of service provided at Prairie is called Integrated Design.
