Advanced Child Development

Discover how a child develops from birth to age 6, along with  occupational practice of being a caregiver. In this class, make learning materials and evaluate equipment appropriate for infants and toddlers. This course is designed to learn economic issues involved with a child’s needs, acquire skills in planning and directing the activities of children, study basic child psychology, understanding socialization of children and handling behavior problems. Students will plan, conduct, and evaluate a two week preschool during class.
