AP Biology

The AP Biology course is designed to be the equivalent of a college introductory biology course usually taken by science majors during their first year. Areas covered in the course include: The Chemistry of Life, Cellular Energetics, Molecular Genetics, Organism Diversity, population Dynamics and Ecology. The AP Biology curriculum is built around twelve major labs that are essential to understanding of life science as a process rather than as an accumulation of facts. Students will also have the opportunity to take the nationally standardized AP test to receive college Biology credit
