One Term Grades 10, 11, 12 Elective
Prerequisite: Intro to Art
Learn how to see the world through the cameras lens, while learning how to use all the bells and whistles on a digital camera. You will learn how to take better photographs through strong compositions, and how to get the best print from your digital image. The weekly themed assignments may include portraits, landscapes, pets, nature, close ups (macro), etc. With each assignment you will gain more control over pictorial composition and the use of your camera. A camera can be provided to check out, if you do not have your own. If you have a great 35 SLR camera and you still want to shoot film, join the class and we will scan in your photographs and enhance the quality in Photoshop. Graphics I is recommended but not required.
