Two Terms              Grades 11, 12             Elective

Prerequisite: Algebra 2

This is the third course in the college bound series. It gives strong attention to statistics as well as to the ideas of functions and trigonometry. Statistics are important not only for the consumer but also for the prospective college student. Functions are important throughout mathematics and its applications. Trigonometry is essential for the sciences and engineering. Graphing calculators are used throughout the course to promote a student’s ability to visualize functions, to explore relationships between equations and their graphs, to generate and analyze data, and to develop the concept of a limit.
