Integrated Math III

Two Terms             Grades 11, 12             Elective

Prerequisite: Passed Integrated Mathematics 2

This course is a continuation of the integrated approach to learning mathematics where there is exposure to the traditional content addressed in geometry and statistics. The content will be delivered and assessed in a way that allows students to learn the applications of key mathematical concepts in a practical way. The content will emphasize principles of geometry including geometric reasoning, measurement, plane and 3-d space figures and similarity of figures. Statistics content will also be built into the curriculum and include: measures of central tendency, displaying data, standard deviation, independent and dependent events, simple and compound probabilities, permutations and combinations. The final portion of the course will be designed to target specific content on the Minnesota Graduation Math Test.
