Jay Scheidt – WHS Class of 2005

Scheidt played football, basketball and baseball in high school and was widely accomplished in all three.

He lettered three years in football and was all-conference, all-area and team MVP. His Trojans won the section title in 2005 and he graduated as the school’s all-time leader in passing yards as a quarterback. He also lettered three years in basketball and was all-conference, all-area and academic all-state.

In baseball, Scheidt was a two-year letter winner and was all-conference and all-Section 2AAA. After high school, he played college football and baseball at Minnesota West and then continued football at Minnesota State University-Mankato.
