Matt Cowdin – WHS Class of 2006

Matt lettered three times in football and was all-SWC twice and an all-area player. He was also the team defensive player of the year, a team MVP and graduated as the team’s all-time leader in tackles. His team won the section title in 2005.

He was a six-year letter winner in wrestling and was three-time all-SWC and two-time all-area. Also a team MVP, he was an SWC champion in 2005 and state participant twice. He finished his career with over 100 wins.

In baseball, Cowdin lettered three years and was named all-SWC twice. After high school, he played college football and baseball at Minnesota West.
