    Worthington  High School BPA will have  11 students competing at the Region 8 Spring Leadership Conference Friday, January 17 at MN West Community and Technical College, Granite Falls.  Students be competing in website design team, parliamentary team, extemporaneous speech, graphic design, advanced interview skills, digital media production, entrepreneurship, BPA merit scholar, and human resource management.     Students from Worthington High School recently participated in a digital photography competition sponsored by the Southwest West Central Service Cooperative.   • Minnesota Sinfonia Returns to Worthington

    Worthington Schools welcomes a return visit by the Minnesota Sinfonia. They will spend less than a week’s time starting with an open to the public reception on Monday, January 6 at 7pm in the lobby of Memorial Auditorium. Teaching Core Academics with Music (Reception Topic) The Sinfonia’s innovative Music in the Schools (MIS) program excites students by using classical music as a bridge to engage learning in math, history, science, social studies and literature.   Click here to read more...

    Minnesota Commissioner of Education, Mary Cathryn Ricker, Visit to ISD 518

    On December 19th, 2019, Minnesota Department of Education Commissioner Mary Cathryn Rickers visited ISD 518 schools and met with students, staff, and administrators. On the visit, she read to and played games with Prairie Elementary students, observed the lessons of middle school students, had a round table discussion with high school students in the teacher pathway program, and even had time to catch an orchestra concert!
