WHS National Honor Society

In the spring of each school year, the WHS National Honor Society holds a special ceremony to honor the present members and to induct new members into this prestigious group of seniors and juniors. Students at WHS have the opportunity to complete an application to be considered as a member of National Honor Society. There are 4 different components that members must exhibit.
*Scholarship – student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. And either be a junior or senior.
*Service – student must provide a history of voluntary contributions to the school or community, and not be paid for them.
*Leadership – student leaders are those who are resourceful, good problem solvers, and idea contributors. Leadership experiences can be drawn from school or community activities while working with or for others.
*Character – the student of good character is cooperative; demonstrates high standards of honesty and reliability; shows courtesy, concern, and respect for others; and generally maintains a clean disciplinary record.
We wanted to take the time to honor our WHS National Honor Society students in lieu of an actual ceremony. Congratulations to you all! #518whs#518whsnatlhonorsociety
