Title IX
No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be
denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any educational program or
activity receiving Federal financial assistance.

The Worthington Independent School District prohibits any form of harassment and violence on
the basis of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, age, marital status, familial status,
status with regard to public assistance, sexual orientation, including gender identity or
expression, or disability. Sexual harassment that creates a hostile environment, including sexual
assault and other forms of sexual misconduct, is a form of discrimination prohibited by Title IX.
