Communication Arts
The Communications Arts Department offers a variety of experiences in English Literature, Composition, Speech, and Theater with the goal that all students will learn to be great communicators.
Students are required to have eight classes in Communication Arts in order to graduate from Worthington High School. Six of these classes are required with an additional two as electives. Students have the opportunity to take honors classes from 10th-12th grades and AP Language and AP Literature to qualify for college credit. We offer a great diversity of electives like Mythology, Theater, Popular Novels, Creative Writing, Debate, Hispanic Literature, Asian Literature, Film Studies, Humanities, and Modern Media.
