Young Adult Literature
One Term Grades 10, 11, 12 Elective
This course explores Young Adult (YA) Literature published after 2010. Students will examine literature intended for those between the ages of 12 and 18. Writing and discussion topics include the elements of YA Lit, common themes represented in YA Lit, and the representation of the realistic experiences in YA Lit. This course is recommended for 9th and 10th grade students.
