Independent School District 518 partners with Teachers On Call to fill substitute teacher and paraprofessional positions. If you are already employed by Teachers On Call in a surrounding district, please contact Teachers On Call to add ISD 518 to your school options. You need not reapply.
Do you know anyone who may be interested in working as a substitute? Or perhaps you are interested in working in the education field but don’t have any experience or background?
Teachers On Call offers monthly virtual information sessions to provide you with more information about working as a substitute and to allow you to ask questions without feeling like you have to commit right away to a new career. Sessions will be held the first Tuesday of each month at 10:00 AM (CST). You can use this link to register for a session: TOC Information Session Sign-Up
Application Process:
Step 1: Select the link below to get started on the online application.
Step 2: Once Teachers On Call receives your application, they will contact you for an interview.
Step 3: After the interview, Teachers On Call will provide instruction for you to complete necessary new hire paperwork and applicable trainings, as well as obtain any required education or certification documents. TOC will also submit a criminal background check at no cost to you.
Step 4: You are hired! Complete orientation, receive access to our Absence Management (Red Rover) system, and you can begin substituting!
