Worthington High School will present a one act adaptation of the classic Charles Dicken’s novel A Christmas Carol at the Memorial Auditorium Performing Arts Center on December 9th and 10th. Directed by Eric E. Parrish, the production features over 30 WHS students who have been hard at work rehearsing since late October.
Experience the timeless holiday tale of Ebenezer Scrooge as the Christmas Spirits visit on Christmas Eve. They take Scrooge on a journey through the happy memories of his past, the difficulties of the present, and the grim future ahead if he should continue in his miserable ways. Will Scrooge change his “Bah! Humbug!” for a “Merry Christmas” with his family? Adapted by Southern Minnesota playwright, Rochelle Norbert, this youth theater version is perfect for the whole family to enjoy at only 55 minutes!
In addition, Friends of the Nobles County Library will be holding a drawing for kids under 18 at each performance for a copy of the complete Dicken’s novel.
