Other Football – Signed with the Brooklyn Dodgers football pro team of the NFL after graduation until he entered the service during World War II, playing 4 years as quarterback.

Wendell, his wife, Marge, and two sons live in Memphis, Tennessee. He was inducted into the Trojan Hall of Fame in 1992.

Tresse currently resides in Sioux Falls, SD with her husband, Joe. She is an Assistant Director of Admission at Augustana College. She was inducted into the Trojan Hall of Fame in 2010.
