About Our Teachers
Mrs. Doeden

Hello, my name is Mrs. Doeden. I was born and raised in Worthington and graduated from Worthington High School. After high school I earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Minnesota, Morris with majors in Elementary Education and Spanish. In 2001, I also earned a Master’s Degree, in Educational Leadership, from Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, MN.
I began teaching in ISD 518 in 1992 at West Elementary and have been with the district ever since. I currently STEM at Prairie Elementary. It is a privilege to teach children each day and I look forward to coming to work. I enjoy helping students discover new things, especially in science and mathematics. I also enjoy practicing my Spanish every day.
Mrs. Flynn

My name is Mrs. Flynn. I am an interventionist at Intermediate School. I have previously taught in Becker, MN and at Fulda Elementary. I have been teaching in Worthington since 2010. I got received my Bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato and my Masters in Education from Saint Mary’s University. When I am not teaching I enjoy sports and spending time with my family.
Mrs. Holinka

Hi, my name is Mrs. Holinka and I am a reading interventionist at Intermediate School. I was born in Worthington and lived in Wilmont, MN before moving to Cornell, WI until I was in 8th grade. At that time, I moved to Fulda, MN and graduated from Fulda High School. I attended Mankato State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education 1-6 and Coaching. I have continued my education with a Masters in Education from St. Mary’s College of Minnesota and in May, 2019, I received my reading licensure from Southwest Minnesota State University, Marshall, MN. I also have an RN degree from Minnesota West Community and Technical College, Worthington, MN. I had taught in 2nd – 5th grade in Fulda, MN before coming to Worthington in the fall of 2014 as a 4th grade teacher. I have been in my current position as a reading interventionist since the fall of 2017. I enjoy seeing my students every day and sharing in their growth as a learner. I also really enjoy collaborating with my peers and sharing in our passion for education. I am married to Brad Holinka and we have 3 adult children, Mari, Michale, and Myah. Outside of school, I enjoy time with my family and friends, running, reading, and cooking.
