About Our Physical Education Teachers
Mrs. Linder
My name is Mrs. Linder. I am currently a Physical Education and Health Teacher at Prairie Elementary for grades K-4. I have also taught ELL and 4th grade at Prairie. The great part about teaching all the grade levels at Prairie is I get to see the students grow and mature from year to year.
I received my AA degree at Worthington Community College (Minnesota West) and my BS degree at Bemidji State University. I have worked for District #518 since 2000. I keep myself busy by attending my children’s events and activities.
Mr. Marquardt
Hi, I am Mr. Marquardt and I teach Elementary Health and Physical Education here at Prairie. My education includes a Masters Degree and I have been teaching in district since 1995. I was born in Wisconsin and now live in Minnesota. I am a BIG Chicago Bears fan! I love the energy levels the students have when they come to my class.
Mr. Sorenson
Hi, I am Mr. Sorenson and I teach Health and Physical Education at Prairie Elementary. I attended Minnesota West and Kentucky Christian University where I finished my education. This will be my first year teaching in the district. I enjoy being able to teach K-2 because you are able to watch the kids improve and grow as they move up. I am also the pitching coach at Minnesota West that allows me to stay busy. I enjoy going to sporting events and staying in shape to occupy my free time.
