About Our Teachers
Mr. Gaudian
My name is Mr. Gaudian and I teach art at the high school. I was born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa, where I graduated from West High. I have an Art Education degree from the University of Northern Iowa. I moved to Worthington in 2002. I was the art teacher in Edgerton and Adrian before I started teaching at the high school in 2023.I have two daughters, and my wife is also a teacher at the high school. In my free time, I like to run, travel, fish and hang out with my family.
Mr. Jacobsen
Born and raised in Brookings, SD, Mr. Jacobsen graduated Brookings High School in 2003. He attended SDSU where he received his bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and Art Education and began working at Watertown High School in Watertown, SD for 10 years before moving into the Worthington School district in 2022. While in Watertown Mr. Jacobsen served as an Interp (“Speech”) coach for 9 years and as a director of the One Act play competitions for 3 years. Today he runs a Magic the Gathering Club in Worthington and helps with the WHS E-Sports club.
