About Our Counselors
I have been with the school district since 1999, working in three different settings during this time. Since fall of 2010, I have been the school counselor at the Worthington Middle School. Prior to this position, I was a Family Advocate at Prairie Elementary for 8 years and the Youth Initiatives Coordinator at the Nobles County Integration Collaborative for 3 years. When I am not in school I enjoy watching my kids play sports, playing board games and reading.
I have been a counselor at Worthington Middle School since the fall of 2019. After growing up in St. Paul, MN I was ready to leave the cities and ventured north. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology at Bemidji State University and my master’s in Counseling & Student Affairs at Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Outside of school I love playing board games, jigsaw puzzles, and playing with my cats Joey & Chandler (I also LOVE the tv show Friends!!!) Traveling is also a big passion of mine. I’ve been lucky enough to visit several places but Ireland will always be my favorite.
