All ISD 518 Students Will Be Attending Classes in a Hybrid Model at the Start of the 2020-2021 School Year

ALL ISD 518 STUDENTS WILL BE ATTENDING CLASSES IN A HYBRID MODEL AT THE START OF THE 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR
All students will learn through a combination of distance learning at home and in-person learning at school with health, safety, and social distancing measures fully in place at ISD 518 facilities. Hybrid learning schedules will be different depending on a student’s grade level. Prairie Elementary students will have in-person classes two times a week. Middle school and high school students will have in-person classes one time a week. Groups will attend classes in-person on the same day(s) and will be similar in size. It is ISD 518’s intention that all students from a household will attend in-person classes on the same day(s).
PRAIRIE ELEMENTARY HYBRID MODEL (50%/50%)
· Students will be split into two groups.
· Students will attend in-person classes for two days a week and receive hybrid distance learning for three days a week.
MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL HYBRID MODEL (25%/25%/25%/25%)
· Students will be split into four groups.
· Students will attend in-person classes for one day a week and receive hybrid distance learning for four days a week.
IN BOTH VERSIONS OF THE HYBRID LEARNING MODELS
· All students will bring home school-issued devices (iPads) to aid in learning.
· Students will be split into groups of similar numbers as evenly as possible.
· Households with multiple students will have all students attending classes on the same day.
· One day of the week will be dedicated to cleaning and disinfecting buildings as well as time for ISD 518 staff to prepare and provide extra assistance to students.
· Some students in specialized programs may have supports available to them on additional days.
