Jeff attended Minnesota West and Mankato State University.  He played baseball at Mankato State in 1996 – 1997.  At Mankato State he was on the dean’s list and graduated Cum Laude.  Jeff currently resides in Brewster, Minnesota. He was inducted into the Trojan Hall of Fame in 2015.

Jacquelyn graduated from the University of St. Catherines. She currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia. She was inducted into the Trojan Hall of Fame in 2015.

Albert Mathiesen – At Large

No. 1 Trojan Fan!

Albert has been the Trojans number 1 fan for more the forty-five years. He can be spotted front and center at all of the Trojan sporting events throughout the year. Albert knows many of our players, coaches and fans. You will often see officials and opposing coaches greeting him before an event. He was inducted into the Trojan Hall of Fame in 2015.

Dee Hale – At Large

Dee Hale. She has been involved in Worthington athletics for more than 40 years. She is known for her “Happy Grams” which she distributes to acknowledge and encourage all students.

Dee says she has enjoyed supporting Worthington Trojan athletics, cheering when her husband was coaching and their children were participating and also being supportive of many athletes at WHS.  Dee and her husband reside in Worthington, Minnesota. She was inducted into the Trojan Hall of Fame in 2017.

Ken Henkels – WHS Class of 1977

Football – Lettered 3 years, All-Conference honors

Wrestling – Lettered 3 years

Track – Lettered 2 years

Coach (1983- 2016) – football for 25 years, cross country for eight, wrestling for 15 and girls and boys track for 23.

Ken and his wife, Pat currently reside in Worthington, Minnesota.  They have 4 children; Toby, Kelly, Derek, and Sam. He was inducted into the Trojan Hall of Fame in 2017.

Kelly Henkels – WHS Class of 2000

Basketball – Lettered 2 years, Conference Championship 1999, State tournament 3rd Place Team 1999

Track – Lettered 5 years, School record in 100 meters, 4X400-meter relay, State Qualifier 4 years, 10 time Conference champion, 2 time team MVP, 5 SWC Team Championships

Cross Country – 1 year

Volleyball – 1 year

Kelly earned WHS Female Athlete of the Year honors in 2000.

Kelly attended Minnesota State University 2002-2006 where she ran track.  At Mankato State, she was All Conference 400m-2005, 2005 and Indoor NCAA Qualifier-400m.

Kelly presently resides in Worthington, Minnesota. She was inducted into the Trojan Hall of Fame in 2017

Mark Hagemann – WHS Class of 1994

Basketball – Lettered 4 years, All-Conference 2 years, All-Area 2 years, Second Team All-State Award (Pioneer Press), State Tournament team 1993-1994, Minnesota Select Team 1993, Minnesota All-Star Team 1993-1994,  SW Conference Champs 1992-1993, 1993-1994, Regional Champs 1993-1994, State Tournament 1993 – 1994.

Track – Lettered 2 years

Mark attend Bowling Green State University 1994 – 1995, Augustana College 1995 – 1997, University of Minnesota 1998 – 2002, and the university of Washington Graduate School 2007 – 2008.  He was on the Deans List at Bowling Green State University and the University of Minnesota.

Mark moved to Seattle, WA in 2004 after teaching for a few years in Seoul, South Korea and Bangkok, Thailand.  He is currently teaching 2nd grade at Hawthorne Elementary and is an active photographer, artist, traveler, hiker, and pianist. He was inducted into the Trojan Hall of Fame in 2017.

Adam Hale – WHS Class of 1995

Adam Hale, Class of 1995

Basketball – Lettered 2 years, All-Conference, Conference and Section Championships

Track – 2 years

Adam attended Worthington Community College for 2 years and Moorhead State University for 3 years.  At WCC he played basketball where the team was Regional Champions and National Tournament participants.  Adam wa on the Deans list at both WCC and Moorhead State. He currently resides in Grantsburg, WI with his wife Amy, and children Axel, Archer & Abram. At Grantsburg HS, Adam is a Physical & Health Education Teacher, and Head Football Coach. Previously he taught and coached at Rockford HS, Rockford MN 2000-2004 and Gulf Coast HS in Naples FL, 2004-2010. He was inducted into the Trojan Hall of Fame in 2017.

Edward helped the football, wrestling and track teams to conference championships. He was an individual state track participant.  He attended Mankato State University 1986 – 1990.  Currently he resides in Houston Texas with his wife, son and daughter.  He was inducted into the Trojan Hall of Fame in 2017.
