About Our Staff

Mrs. Oldre

My name is Mrs. Oldre, I am the Prairie Elementary Library Media Specialist. I feel fortunate to be able to share my ENTHUSIASTIC love of reading with all students and staff at Prairie Elementary school!

I joined the Prairie Elementary staff in 2013 after teaching 19 years for the Hills-Beaver Creek School District. I began my career as a Kindergarten teacher and have also taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, gifted and talented, computer and then moved into Library Media.

I grew up and graduated from Luverne, MN. I earned my BA degree in Elementary Education from Southwest State University in Marshall, MN and my Masters in Library Media Education from Mankato State University in Mankato, MN.

My husband Kyle and I have two college age boys. I enjoy reading, traveling, golfing, socializing, volunteering, and spending time with my family.

Ms. Criscelia

My name is Ms. Criscelia, I am a Paraprofessional in the Library Media Center!

I have been a part of the ISD 518 District since 2017 , but became a Media Center Paraprofessional in November 2019.

I came to Worthington as a little baby girl and basically grew up here. I used to want to be a doctor, but seems like I enjoy being here at school with you so much better. I love books, so I am very happy that I am able to read them with everyone around me now!

My favorite season is Fall because of all the pretty colors the leaves turn into. One of my favorite colors is green, but I also love pink and purple! An activity that I love to do most is cuddle with my daughter at home. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, going on road trips, and watching scary movies!

Miss Joan

My name is Ms. Joan, I started as a Library Media Center Paraprofessional in August 2017. I have actually been a part of the Prairie team since September 2014!

I was born and raised in Adrian, Minnesota and I still love it! I have three dogs who I love very much. Also, I have two grown up boys. One of my boys has a son of his own, which is now my grandson!

My favorite things are hanging out with my grandson and reading books that I can now do with all of you!

Miss Susan

My name is Ms. Susan, but others may know me as Mrs. Poss. I started as a Special Ed Paraprofessional in 2007. I became a Paraprofessional for the Media Center in September 2020.

I have actually lived in a lot of places! I grew up here in Worthington. After getting married, my husband and I moved to Iowa. I lived in Canada after spending some time in Indiana, but have now come back to Worthington. My favorite activity is sewing many things at home and I also love to spoil all of my four grandchildren.
