Business Math
One Term Grades 9, 10, 11, 12 Elective
In this course, students will build mathematical and analytical reasoning skills applied to contexts of personal financial management, employment, and business ownership/operations. Students will learn and demonstrate how mathematical concepts of measurement, statistics, ratio, proportion, and formulas can be applied in business contexts. Applications of business math for problem solving and decision making will include banking, investing, insurance, credit, loans, taxes, entrepreneurship, business payables and receivables, and financial statements. This course may include participation in a Business Professionals of America (BPA) student organization.
