At Prairie Elementary, we provide excellent educational opportunities to more than 1200 students from Early Childhood through Fourth Grade. Educators at Prairie Elementary are extremely dedicated to the young people of this community. Our shared vision encompasses meeting the needs of all learners through establishing a collaborative culture with a focus on learning and results. At Prairie Elementary we use a full range of educational services to respond to the individual learning needs of students. We are devoted to meeting the social, emotional, and academic needs of every student.

  • Young Artist Conference

    The Young Artist Conference will take place on Tuesday, October 22nd.  The bus will leave from Prairie at 6:45 AM and will return after the buses have left for the day, between 3:30-3:45 PM.  Parents are responsible for transportation to and from school.   Read More...

  • Picture Retakes

    Picture retakes will be held on Friday, October 25th at Prairie Elementary.  Rickers will be here to take the pictures in the morning.  Students who have not had a picture taken will be sent to take one.   Read More...

  • 4th Grade Field Trip -Pipestone National Monument

    Our 4th grade teachers have applied for and were awarded the Every Kid in a Park Grant again this year.  The students will leave the building at 8:30 am and return at approximately 2:30 pm.  More specific information regarding the trip will be coming from each teacher.   Read More...
