One Term Grades 10, 11, 12 Elective
Total Fitness I is a participation-based course. The concentration of this course will be on a comprehensive weight and speed training program. Emphasis is focused on active participation, personal fitness, as well as strength and athletic development. The purpose of this course is to provide each student with a strong foundation of meaningful physical activity and to establish good habits for lifetime practices.
Total Fitness 2
One Term Grades 11, 12 Elective
Pre-requisite – Total Fitness 1
TOTAL FITNESS II is a participation-based course. The class will include the same basic strength and speed training as covered in Total Fitness I. The focus of the class will be on improving athletic performance factors. High intensity levels of training will be done focusing on development of strength, speed, agility and quickness.

Pre-requisite – Total Fitness II
TOTAL FITNESS III is a participation-based course. This course provides further opportunity for students to explore various weight training programs. Students will use the knowledge from Total Fitness I and II to create a training program tailored to their own condition and needs. Students will also receive more in-depth instruction on sports nutrition and sport specific training.
