Concepts of Algebra 1 C & D
Two Terms Grades 9, 10, 11 Elective
Prerequisite: Concepts of Algebra 1 A & B
This course is designed to further expose students in the area of algebra in a way that provides logical connections and practical application. This course is designed to build on the Concepts of Algebra 1a & b coursework and will really focus on developing and using algebraic understandings. There will be extensive work writing and evaluating algebraic expressions as well as writing and solving algebraic equations and inequalities. Writing and graphing linear equations, setting up and solving systems of equations and working with polynomials will also be a strong focus of the course. This course will receive HS math credit but not HS math credit.
