Class Guitar
One Term Grades 9, 10, 11, 12 Elective
Class Guitar is an introductory, non-performance course designed to allow students to learn the basics of playing the acoustic guitar. Fundamentals of rhythm and melody, guitar techniques, chord / note reading, and basic general musicianship will be stressed. Tablature, transposition, and fingerstyle playing will be explored. There is also a special individual research project attached to guitar class. The WHS Music Dept. furnishes all materials for this class including instruction books and acoustic guitars.
