American Government

One Term           Grades 12            Required

This class examines the structure and function of the institutions of American government. Units and topics covered include the Articles of Confederation, the Bill of Rights, development of political parties, elections, Congress, Presidency, Supreme Court, and other federal courts, state government, county, and local government. Comparisons with other forms of democratic and autocratic governments will be made.
